Lynda Kelly

British author. As a child she had her own Dartmoor pony called Misty and the pair had a lot of fun together. As an adult, her children too caught the pony bug and enabled her to enjoy another generation of pony loving! Misty was the inspiration for Clown, the pony character in a series of children's pony novels she has recently written. The stories are traditional, with a welcome streak of humour,  but they also deal with some serious issues such as bullying.

Lynda Kelly has also set up a website about the books and the characters in the series.
